Imagine how it would be if you could navigate the usual legal and regulatory mess with ease, and make better decisions as you scale your business or career growth. Regulatory and legal difficulties is a huge hurdle to doing business in India, and very few people have mastery over it. We are inviting you to find out more about how we can add a touch of magic to your growth. Here are some amazing success stories of our students who have taken up our courses.

My experience with the course was very pleasing. I was in the pioneering course and the people at iPleaders were really supporting and easily approachable. The most important thing that I learned through this course was that was able to figure out what sort of issues (on the legal side) an entrepreneur typically faces, whether initially or even after.
The course did help a lot. As explained before, when starting out, there is no one to help with the basic details. Even the ones which are in practice (those not provided in procedure but are accepted practices).
I was working for an app based start-up who were expanding into import – export of electronics to earn some side money. They had asked for a quick opinion for basic compliances and how to get going. I specifically remember the chapter for Import Export procedures in Module 2 which really helped me out to make the opinion asap, which would have otherwise taken more time. It really helped me to get to the main point without having to learn about the fundamentals myself. These are the sort of things, which are essential, basic and not difficult otherwise, but you don't get to learn about these unless you chance upon them.

Associate at ANM Global

When I took up the course, I was working with Wipro as an ERP consultant. However, my real interest in the course was due to my involvement in a startup project. With 2 other friends, I started a business in education industry called Pinnacle Academy. At the time of joining the Diploma in Entrepreneurship Administration and Business Laws course in January 2014, I wanted to learn the intricacies of starting up a new business and how to take it to the next level. Learning how to structure my business right was a point of interest as well.
After this, I decided to study MBA, and I had mentioned this NUJS diploma course in my resume for the interview rounds. IIFT has a 3 stage selection procedure. At the final stage there is an interview. During the selection interview at IIFT, the professor asked me about the course. IIFT gives a lot of importance to entrepreneurship. The fact that I pursued this course along with a full-time job and also had a business on the side was really appreciated. There was a detailed discussion about the course and what I had learned. I believe this course helped me to make a difference and stand out amongst other contenders. The iPleaders team was supportive. In particular, I found the webinars to be really good.
I learnt a lot from the webinars. Registering of a company, filing tax returns, understanding partnership and LLP, getting business licenses, these were very relevant for me. When we have to approach a lawyer also next time, I will not go with a blank mind but a fairly good idea about what I want from the lawyer.

Vinay Biradar

Business Management Graduate at BT- Global Services

During the course I particularly liked the module on M&A and Joint Ventures because the course presented these concepts from a different perspective than what was taught in college – which was mostly sections and case laws. This course covered the strategic and management angle. Learning about drafting various clauses and negotiation was also quite useful.
I was skeptical as to how practical things can be taught in an online course. However, it was a very practical approach compared to the theoretical concepts that we are taught in law college. I also found the section on FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act) to be very useful. In fact, at some points, especially before my interviews, I felt that I would love to take up the course one more time to refresh my knowledge.
For the next couple of years, I plan to work with a law firm and then decide to continue with law a firm or join any corporate as legal counsel eventually. Also, I'm on the advisory board of a startup based in London and I believe that this Diploma course has helped me to understand and address the concerns of a startup business.
My experience during the course was amazing and the team was very supportive. I still eagerly wait for the NUJS newsletters and find them to be enlightening.

In my current role as a litigator I come across a lot of entrepreneurs who have questions about company formation, obtaining various licenses, company structures and this diploma course helps me answer such questions very clearly. Also, currently I am collaborating with a few others to start a very promising startup. I'm very confident that the the Diploma in Entrepreneurship Administration and Business Laws will help me there with a number of crucial things. I'm also associated with different online legal forums and blogs where I get lot of questions from people about business laws and my learning from the Diploma course comes very handy at this time.
The in-depth knowledge provided in the NUJS Diploma in Entrepreneurship Administration and Business Laws is really useful for lawyers like me. I found the course structure to be very interesting and useful; especially the modules on taxation and compliance were amazing. I myself did not use the career services yet but I'm sure that they will be useful for students seeking a career in corporate law. I believe that as litigation practice changes in years to come, the course will help me further.
I have recommended the NUJS Diploma in Entrepreneurship Administration and Business Laws course to lots of people whom I know professionally and personally. I believe that this course is not just useful to people who want to start their own business of any type, but it is very relevant for lawyers, CA and CS in their practice in light of the startup boom in our country.

Suyash Manjul

Advocate, High Court, Lucknow

At the time of joining the course, I had decided to pursue my career with law firms and it was a natural progression for me to join this course. I'm very happy with that decision of mine because I feel that my purpose of joining the course was well served. The course was very well structured and the process of pursuing it was smooth. It encouraged me to apply my knowledge and logic rather than just memorize theoretical knowledge. I'm very confident that this practical approach would help me when I start working at law firms.
I particularly enjoyed the drafting exercises because this would be the kind of work I will be doing when I will be working with law firms. This exercise gave me a firsthand experience in drafting. Another useful skill I learned from the course was due diligence. During my internship, I was involved in due diligence and I feel that the course really helped me as it covered due diligence in a detailed manner.
I strongly believe that mentioning the NUJS diploma in Entrepreneurship Administration and Business Laws in my CV made me stand out and helped me get shortlisted for interviews. Apart from interning with several prestigious law firms including JSA and AMSS, I have advised my friends who have started their own business.

This course has frankly struck the right chord with people who want to make it big in life …be it lawyers, entrepreneurs or even bureaucrats …I say even bureaucrats because today's world is run by businesses and the bureaucrat need to have a fair understanding of the corporate laws. I'm sure this course would help me in once I'm a bureaucrat also.
The way India is becoming an investor friendly destination, providing a platform for international trade …this diploma would help a bureaucrat to have an idea about how businesses startup, regulations work etc. We have seen businesses complaining red-tapism and lethargy in bureaucrats. However if bureaucrat do this kind of courses they would have an insight into the Laws and working of corporate sector.

Yashwardhan Pratap Singh

Lawyer, M.P High Court

My primary objective for joining the course was to gain practical insights into the practice of business laws. During my internship, I found that there is huge difference in studying law in college and applying the knowledge while working at a law firm. The NUJS Diploma in Entrepreneurship Administration and Business Laws gave me the confidence and expertise to deal with practical scenarios which is otherwise hard to come by, and definitely not imparted in law schools. The course was very useful for me, and the purpose for which I took it up was well served. Going forward I can see that this course will really help me in my work as a corporate lawyer. I will be able to apply the knowledge gained through this Diploma course in my career which would in turn help me deliver the high performance that my job demands.

Pranjit Bhattacharya

Associate at Trilegal

The course provided the necessary understanding of concepts such as corporate laws, contracts, tax, labour laws etc. It prepared me to easily understand concepts and speeded up my research on particular topics when needed. When I was appearing for my CS final exams, I referred the notes of my diploma course for an effective refresher on topics like procedural aspects of law and other corporate law basics.
The drafting marathon in which we drafted several contracts on a given situation was a really good experience. It gave me an insight into different kind of agreement, clauses etc. It gave me hands on experience of drafting, much before I would get such an opportunity at my work. Learning the theory part is very different from practically preparing a draft. It introduced me to the kind of language which has to be implemented, as it's not the normal English which is used to draft these.

Lavina Manghnani

Indian Law Partners

I'm hundred percent satisfied with the course and my expectations from the course were totally fulfilled. The course provided a holistic view on each topic like contract drafting and liquidation preferences. The webinars were really helpful; they gave us fresh new insights and access to the best brains in the industry.
I especially found the modules on Investment Law to be the interesting. The modules on Liquidation preferences, FDI and NRI banking were most interesting.
I benefited the most from the Capsule course on SHA and SSA drafting lessons. I still refer the course and get good direction from it, and I take notes and patterns from it while drafting agreements.
Not just the course curriculum, I have benefited immensely from the mentorship provided by iPleaders team and career services such as CV consultation and mock interviews. I got a sense of direction and completely changed my CV after the guidance provided by them.

Praveena Pechetti

Associate at Tatva Legal

I'm finding the course to be useful in my business for tasks like drafting and reviewing MOUs. In my current role, I'm reviewing my company's non-disclosure agreements and MOUs and feel that the course comes handy in these tasks.
My family runs a chain of diagnostic labs in one of the major cities in India. The business involves agreements and contracts with franchisees, hospitals and other diagnostic labs. As the company has over 100 employees, it has to deal with employee contracts too. My father is a doctor without any background in business or law and he felt that things like non-disclosure agreements and employment contracts were being neglected.
With my law degree and the diploma in business management, I find myself better equipped to emphasize on these aspects of business.
I would definitely recommend this course to any who wants to start a business, wants to know what is currently happening in e-commerce space, one who is new to law or does not have any knowledge of law. I would say anyone who wants to startup business or join their family business should do this course so that they get to know about business laws and don't get fooled by others. This course is helpful to everyone because of its great content.
